Have any of you ever PERSONALLY kept a customer from receiving his/her phone? Have you ever PERSONALLY charged a customer's account with penalty fees, damage charges, etc.? If so I'd like to know what department you're in and I'll need a direct extension for you so I can get those customers in touch with the person physically responsible for the aforementioned situations.

I just don't understand why anyone of sane mind and body would call in and not only blame an entire situation I found out about 45 seconds before speaking with him on me, but threaten me with physical violence. First of all, what are your chances at finding me since I'm in control of the information you get about me? Secondly, I have every tidbit of your p...

Preach it Brother! Amen! I'm gonna stand up and yell it out loud!...maybe not...you know it's strange we sit next to each other and still respond to each others forum threads...we are some lazy non conversating b-stitches!(don't ask what a b-stitch is...my only excuse is that I'm on the lam...and I'm very tired

You really shouldn't say that you're on the "lam". They already know we're southern and now it looks like, not only can we not spell "lamb", but you're having some type of relations with one. Geez man, you should really think about airing your dirty laundry in a forum. Tsk tsk. 🤣

I've even had we the customer was misinformed by the store rep that she'll get a brand new phone as an exchange. Big surpise there, right? So I said "No, Ma'am. We only have the refub units."

So what's the customer's response? "Why did YOU tell me I could?" 🙄

I sometimes fantasize about getting a big old bus and picking up a bunch of disgruntled care reps of various types and descriptions, each with their own little list. We'd travel around the country stopping here and there for a rep to get out, knock on the door and say "Hi there, Mr Customer! Remember a while back when you called me all those names and said you were going to kick my ass?" Then the rep delivers one solid roundhouse slap to the idiot's head, turns around and it's off to the next house with everybody cheering and singing happy camp songs...

But yeah, sometimes I look at the "Create Charge" button and wonder if I could cause a heart attack by adding one of those preprogrammed $10,000 fees they have listed in there... I hav...

This might be an urban legend, but I've heard of rep for some teleco in the UK that actually did charge and "asshole fee" or something to the effect.

No urban legend needed, I myself had a customer ask me what the .29 "tolerance fee" on his account was--I researched it and found out a rep had added it as a recurring charge after an escalated call... I had a really tough time keeping myself from laughing as I assured the customer that it was a mistake and I'd be crediting him for it... People would think way more than twice about ticking us off if they knew how big a mess one of us could make, if properly motivated! 😲

The guy in the UK did it for thousands according to the story 🤣

Only .29 for the tolerance fee? What's the point in that? I'd move the decimel at least two placed to the right

Actually, it was pretty smart. The customer hadn't noticed it for about three months, and could conceivably have gone on forever never noticing it, it's not enough to get fired over, but it's so obviously something that doesn't belong that any rep reviewing the bill online would get a giggle over it, possibly without reporting it to the customer. If what you're after is a subtle form of revenge, this was a good one... 😉
