what is up with the FCC heads lately, because people who want to migrate to Cingular can't due to the fact they are in the 12 western states and under contract to attws. i had a least two or three people who want to migrate for the better coverage and the FCC won't let them (they can do it online if its a single line by refreshing their page when it says they are not eligible)

Its an idea of both cingular and the FCC,the reason for it, is that as part of it, is that Cingular has to unravel the western states market as they had a roaming agreement with Cingular and T-Mobile.

Pending approval of the ATT-Cingular Merger, cingular had to give up certain towers in the western states, and if...

BTW, it was not the FCC idea, it was proposed by Cingular and they agreed to let them do it, but it thought up and created by cingular, and to be realistic, its actually pretty smart, cuz it makes those customers fufill their contracts, something blue customers have a bad habit of doing!!!!

You can always transfer them to the save team, we can have a manager override that. 😉

The only you can overide is the ability to migrate them, but they still don't get discounts, they changed that as well, before it would say past due balnce, now it says customers has not completed contract, and Supervisors at the save tean won't override that.

Thats also why they take your AWID, cuz you get FEEDBACK for trying. Its a violation of the p&p protocol.

Maybe I'm on the wrong save team then, but I've had a manager override that many times.

thats the point, cingular only wants them to migrate if they are completed the majority of their contract, the ONLY, i really stress only is if they are on a 2 year contract, never signed, then they are considered to be on a1 year, if they have completed the requirements under the 1 year policy, then they override it, if they don;t neet the standards they are not to be, thats why cingular has been getting pretty pissed lately, thats why they just changed the credits policy on may 1,2005 as well.
