I've finally came to an ultimate conclussion about why left brain and right brain in cingular haven't been speaking lately. They don't know each other.
The company has more split personalities than your local loony bin(the company should be called Sybilwireless). Spur of the moment ideas that deflate like your birthday balloons and sudden policy changes in real time.
I say we all pitch in and buy the company at least a year's supply of Prozac or maybe some Lithium.
Maybe then instead of riding the training class rollercoaster or the "you've been upgraded to" while working a position they'll leave the good reps. where they have doing what they do best.
You all know what I do best...saying "no" is my life...pathetic as that may be I'm a pr...

No, we don't do upgrades or credits in warranty. we just get to deal simultaneously with blue and orange customers and systems. On the blue side, we have people that have had the moon handed to them by other departments in the past, but they can't get jack from us in warranty, and on the orange side, we have systems so deceptively simple that when we want information to tell the customer's what is really going on, we can't, because nobody will tell us. Needless to say, it's kinda frustrating.

Nope, we just got informed that we have to reapply for our jobs on the Res Desk because they're adding more work and there MIGHT be a raise involved. They're supposed to re-evaluate us and either stick us back on the floor or start training us for the new workload.

But now that p&p, has been streamlined, it will be a lot easier, i mean i did res for like a year before i chose to go back to care.

I mean now its simple, if you read primus KB46675, it's clear, trust and adjust is dead, people finally have to take responsibility for their plans accounts and details of service, and then there is KB36051, where if you are a blue customer both business or consumer, that unless you have a mult...

Well, for now, that stuff doesn't apply much to us, because the three of us (TheNoGuy, resdeskslave, and myself) are on warranty res desk, so we don't do upgrades or credits, and trust and adjust had little effect on us when it was in force. Our job right now is basically to reiterate to the customer that they can't get whatever extra special treatment they are asking for, because the warranty applies equally to most everyone, regardless of whether or not you pay your bills on time every month.
Now, with the things changing in the near future, the stuff that resdeskslave was mentioning that is gonna require is to reapply for our own jobs, some of that might change, we might finally have a wee bit of power to do something (if the situation w...
