I've heard that it's Jack Splat, since the splat is the geek word for the asterisk he also resembles--that's a little more interesting...a very little, but hey... 😉

They should have made his round head the AWS logo for the merger, call it war paint, then have him ride a horse into battle as he stabs other company logo's like some sort of message to these other companies.
