Everyweek I hear more stupid crap about Cingular...
So in our latest meeting, seems that Cingular is blaming all the 3rd party call centers for the poor service marks Cingular has been receiving.
So first they make us follow these stupid PAR statistics, which can not apply to us because of the policies we have to follow (HAVE to transfer 40-60% of our calls), but now they are blaming us for THIER stupid policies and migration crap that we HAVE to tell the customer.
Now, we have to say a stupid script at the end of the call, so the customer can rate our assistance, all so Cingular can hear how WE have assisted them and what their issues are with this stupid company.

hi , i have no tools to assist you, i can only take a bill payment , or order a new fone and GSM plan, but otherwise you are stuck on your plan, and will get overrage charges each and every month until you migrate 😡 "oh by the way Cingular is a faultless company with perfect policy and procedures, and customer service centres that actually provide*GASP* customer Service-they are evil and must be stripped of resources and held accountable for terrorist acts worldwide. in short Service=BAD,making money by shady means and blaming those not really responsible for problems=GOOD!

They are setting themselves up to drop us after they don't need us anymore (more and more tdma customers are migrating to GSM), by MAKING out stats bad and probably creating fasle reports of our actual customer service levels. I think Startek Corp should be looking to drop Cingular and get a better client.

I whole heartedly agree. AT&T had some stupid things going on, but Cingular. Well, Cingular make AT&T seem like heaven!
