Halifax center is fudging the numbers...

Well this is VP week in Halifax. Most of the week we had 2 VP from somewhere in the US which makes these people important somehow. I came to work yesterday and walked into a circus of ridiculousness. I don’t need my work environment to be filed with stupid orange balloons.

Why can’t the con spend some of this money on phones and headsets that work correctly? The point of this rant is not this; it’s the fact that these VPs who visited here can’t be too intelligent if they can’t figure out that Halifax is fudging the number this week. TLs were acting as RES and well, RES was being res. If your hand went up, someone was at your desk almost instantly. It’s almost like they cared, almost…

Most other days, our hand is in the air any...

when everyone in this center realizes that all this company is doing right now is setting you up to fail, with all there new "policies" and "regulations", i mean all this is, is a glorified sweatshop i was told i was not allowed to read a newspaper in between calls, even though there is sometimes up to 10 min in between them, next i will need permission to breath, or beeter yet to go take a pee, but they know they have you due to the fact that it is a job and its pays the bills, all i am saying it they need to start treating the reps with a little more respect and taking our opinion a little more seriously, as we are the ones taking the calls and hearing first hand what the problems are!!!

As far as the fugding the nubmers i agree 100% th...

happens here too(impressing big cheeses), but our res desk agents are nothing short of AWESOME 😁 , our support from RES is consistently SUPERB 😁 , rarely is there a wait time, but that will change soon as they will assit with escalations to de-escalate as a backup(so will bridge calls, but not transfer to them)before a supe is contacted.

My center is actuallly really good. We have higher up around here a lot and our mentality in our center doesnt change all that much if at all. Most days the general mood is a good one. We get help when we need it and don't really have to wait for it. It's a bit hard for finding a super sometimes but they are allowed to be busy

i like our centre. sups are more or less good, and rez desk rocks. and all the higher ups are trying to show cingular that par sucks.

no they aren't. They are pushing par on us to win hats and ovenmits so they can lick their MOs ass and be promoted 7 years from to a job where they make $.27 more per hour than now.

It's like that at my call center too, but what do you excpect? It's like if you haven't seen your parents in along time aren't you gonna want to be good for them and show them the good things that are going on in your life instead of telling them that you gambled your whole pay check away on a game of roulette and have to eat ramen noodles for the next two weeks till you get paid? Think even though they'd be concerned they probaly didn't want to hear that as soon as they walk in the door.

dude you need to re-read my post. It says 5 mins to 7 days. I sit in whatever color I feel like most days to prevent going crazy or something, or less crazy.

our RES Team is awesome 99% of the time, i have nothing but other departments to compare them against, but our RES team is SOLID.yay team 😁

our center does suck and I'd like to add that it only smells like fish here in July. Last night on my last call, (25 past my shift because the cust. wanted a supervisor) to bitch about our policy on coverage feedback forms and why 20 cases have to be reported before her phone might work again in her area. After having my hand up for 27.5 mins, the cust. hung up and i got to go home. By the way no one answered my hand incase anyone is wondering.
