Those Wacky Transfers
Just got out of our team meeting which did reaffirm my suspicions as of late. Teams who have been passing PAR flawlessly over the last while have been (surprise, surprise) NOT offering to transfer customers! This has been a common practice at Convergys sites as well and has finally taken ahold of people here. The only problem is is that quality will still give you a zero call if you don't offer to transfer. So, what's ultimately more important for individual job security and the future of this and any other centre? PAR or Quality?

of course quality over numbers. as long as we're offerinf the quality cingular will have to adjust the numbers for tdma centres. where is your desk on team 15?

Love it there. Alot of fun. The people I work with are amazing. I just don't like it when I have to work at Tip Top. It's like the dark side over there. Glad I'm not scheduled for it this month.

ummmm. three. i have a job here, at jack fraser (which entails me having to work at tip top every now and then), and I'm also in the naval reserves. I work about 65 hours a week.

My TL is telling us to offer to transfer the customer but basicaly lie to them a say something like "I'll be happy to transfer you but there may be a long hold time. If you want I can give you the toll free # so that you can call back when XdeptX is not so busy!"
