I had a guy that called in "Why is there a charge on my credit card from xx date?" I looked in the notes "Well sir you called in on that day to make a payment on your invoice." Guy "Yeah, I know but why is there a charge on it." Long pause on my part as I try to conceive what I just heard and try to find the nicest way to tell this guy that he is not bright. "Well sir when you make a payment using your credit card it will show on your credit card statement." Gosh some people just amaze me.

I know that's exactly what i was thinking. right now i have a guy who wants his phone programmed and i give him the instructions. "hold on one moment while i pull over" i wanted to smack the guy. come on buddy you're driving down the freeway, holding your cell, while trying to program another phone. you're a danger to society.

so.

2 years ago I was coming home (to canada(bc)) from California in the middle of summer. While I was boarding the plane I saw an american woman bundling her 2 children in snow suits and boots in preparation for their arrival in "CANADA"... little did she know that canada's climate is very similar to that of california in mid summer. ... silly americans. 😉

I have to agree, Im amercian but majority of americans are dumb as rocks. Ok lets go back few years ago, old lady spills hot coffee on her lap and sues mc donalds. Its your fault you dumb ish to put hot coffee on your lap. I can see if she asked for an ice coffee or what ever its called but anyone with a brain can tell u if you order hot coffee, 10 times out of 10 its going to be hot. Now everywhere I go in amercia, there is cautions signs on every little thing because some idiot will get hurt and try to sue. F*$king losers.

Well, to be fair, stupid people are everywhere, but there are a lot of people in America and we all work for American companies, so it stands to reason that the majority of dumbasses we speak to will be American.

On the other hand, TMo has a couple of call centers in Canada, and I am sorry to say that they must hire the stupidest, most clueless people they can find. It's a standing bet in my call center that any time a customer calls in with some really horrendous balls up on their account that it will have been perpetrated by one of those call centers, and seldom are we wrong. I myself have had to give three customers 600+ dollar credits due to these reps very helpfully backdating customers onto rate plans without first checking to see...

So, in essence, she was complaining about $0.78, which she could buy a loaf of bread with? Damn, thats one hell of a sale on bread!
