now i can understand people not knowing if they had a digital service or gsm still pretty bad but i can understand it... but i mean. how hard is it for a cust to knwo who service they have, like i just had a customer call in saying that he had tmobile and the he needed help i adv him that i was a cingular rep and he said well i dialed tmobile number nd got routed to you ( an obvious lie)
like i would love to know how you cannot know who you are with

If he dialed 611 on the cell phone and was on a cingular tower he would have been routed to us by mistake. 611 is like the universal cus care number but you need to be on a tower of your service provider
at least thats what I was told when I asked the first time it happened to me 🙂

Seriously,I find that they work real well on our customers,although theres the side effect that sometimes happens where the individual thinks they know EVERYTHING.

i got a call from a customer that has qwest landline and wanted to pay before disconnected, called a 1-800# and routed to US?yeah he was our cust too, but geez, i cannot take payments for qwest.... 😛

not all americans are idiots, i just think it has to do with the fact that they are so dependant on us for everything, if i have a question bout my phone i other look at the manual or i lookin through the phone where as cust will call in bout anything.. especially turning on a phone, wanting to know why there bill was so high... majority of therse questions could be done by themselves but they depend on us to answer everything so they dont have to use thinking power
