"Thank you for calling business end user care, my name is ________ ___________ how can i help you today?"

"i want to go on a nationwide plan"

*pulls up account and verifies*

"ok so i see you are on the regional 29.99 right now. to get nationwide calling you'd have to move it up to the 59.99 Digital One Rate"

"well i heard i can get it for 39.99"

"ma'am, you are referring to the Cingular Wireless nationwide plans. if you are interested we can go over your options for migrating"

-the famous line...ready?-...

my first call of the day was like that too, the cust was stating that she was supposed to have the ETF's waived which is true according to the notes, but she was also trying take advantage of the situation, stating that she had been offered to have the MRC's waived as well and all taxes and charges credited back, and i was like yeah! didn't they offered you a free camera phone as well with the next 6 months unltd calling and free!!! or how about we pay you to use our services.
can't believe she used the old "previous rep told me" and i was like no ma'am he didn't tell you as he is on my team and he is sitting next to me, as a matter of fact he is going over the acct with me right now......suddenly CLICK......hello customer are you still the...

but it got better after that, i've been at work for 4 hrs and that was the only really bad call. other than this other cust calling in to ask for the acct number and i was previously failed on a call for not asking why they wanted the acct number (obviously for porting their number out) so i was like why would you like your acct number, the cust is like i am the customer and i can do whatever you want, i'm like so sir which company you are going with? just so you know you have a contract until sept 2006, have a nice day and thank you for calling cingular!

i hate to say this man, but i kinda agree with the customer on that one. you were failed on a call for not asking why a cust wants their account info? that seems wierd to me..

i know i totally think it's not our business to ask them why they want their own acct number is not like is gonna stop them from going to a different company, i bet if i was the one calling in i would blow some steam if some a**hole is going to ask me why i want to get my own information. that is something i don't agree with at all, i was failed by one of our SLR's they say that we are supposed to find out why they want acct numbers. i don't get it!
