Chicago AT&T Wireless GSM?

Can anyone tell me why througout the Chicago area and other parts of the country, there always seems to be a weaker signal for AT&T Wireless's GSM service as compared to T-Mobile GSM service? My customers hate the coverage in the high rises downtown. The customers who come into my southside location have weak signals in the homes too. Seems to be the same in the burbs as well. I heard its the same in different parts of the country too. I turned off my AT&T line last year because my T-Mobile was getting such a better signal in my home.

I can, but I don't want to tell you unless you [or someone else] can explain to me why my AWS GSM phone gets better signal than my friends' (plural) T-Mobile phones here in the Metro Detroit area. 😛
