Avoid V600 from AT&T if you use SMS

According to Moto and ATT all V600's from ATT have the same version.

I have a problem with SMS. I forward my emails to my phone via #@mobile.att.net 2/3 of the time if I hit the menu key while reading a message or try to delete it, my phone instantaneously reboots (as if I yanked out the battery and then replaced it). It then goes through the normal startup procedures.

AT&T NBO has replaced the phone twice (and I have all 3 in front of me).

All 3 have the same versions as per *#9999# and all 3 have the same problem.

If you have the problem call Motorola they were unaware of it and therefore have no fix. If you think you don't have the problem forward 6 large emails to your phone then read and delete them 1 by 1 and your phone...

Actually other than that I love the phone.

The Camera is good. Far better than my other phone.

The built in speaker phone is nice.

It's far easier and more user friendly than the SE T616 it replaced.

I am sorry but I like a flip phone and outside of the SMS bug it has been my only dislike on this phone.

Moto phone features are always great, but their achiles tendon is their quality. Their signal quality is piss poor and so is their durability.

How about just avoiding the V600 all together? Or any other Crapola product for that matter.
