Suncom Service and phones
I've always been interested in getting a new phone, but am I really limited to phones that Suncom offers or can I get any AT&T phone?

I just quit attws and unfortunatly you are not able to get any att phone where the suncom provider you are with are only affiliated with attws they may own the company but you are in a rock and a hard place sorry

i know this is a pretty late response..but i must correct copstuff....if you are a customer of suncom...you can use any attws phone with suncom's service..they are both compatable.

brent you are mostly correct but not completely for fully,for suncom phones,the esn ust be loaded in the system it won't work,and the ability to override that has been removed,so unless its approved it won't work

well i never had a problem with activating ATTWS phones for Suncom. They work on the name network so i never had a problem. But i see where you are coming from.

Hey, I'm not the one who went digging through the archives of the forum for 9 months. And I replied because it was near the top of the list of posts in the forum when I clicked to open it. I saw the date after I read the posts. And good comeback by the way, thats like saying no you're stupid when someone else calls you stupid, most of us stopped doing that by about the age of 5.
