Hey
If you're looking for a good gsm phone, the best models I fi nd working for att customer care would be the samsung x426 color screen flip phone weighing 2.8 ounces and ofcourse a decent price (if eligible for contract renewal discounted price)

Nokia 6200IM, newer model with speakerphone and color screen, but non flip and a bit more pricey but not so bad still. Or Nokia 3595, good price color screen and very dependable light phone, or any nokia gsm model (3100, 3200 camera, 3300 mp3, etc)

AVOID ANYTHING MOTOROLA, personally I have found they have the most flaws and most complaints, hope this helps you and good luck

An update on the samsung too. It is NOT worth it. I also work for attws in a fashion, and I have had more complaints and returned more x426 than even a moto t720 😳 so I could not recomend one of those phones and I am sorry for all the people I recomended it to in the past.

Please, please, please do not get the Samsung phone, as I do not want to be talking with you in a few months on how it's such a crappy phone. Thank you.

I would stick with Nokia, you really can't go wrong with any of them.

Does anyone know which phones are available now? When I called to switch to GSM and choose the phone (was going with the Nokia 6200) I was told it was no longer available, along with about 5 other ones. The website has not been updated so all the ones that aren't available are still listed.

HELP.

That's strange. 6 current models all offered on ATTWS's website, but all no longer available? That doesn't sound right.

No, thats incorrect informatio...some of the models, such as the 6200 and the 3595's were just replaced with the IM (Instant Message) versions of them; the 6200IM and 3595IM respectivly.

So, if they are saying something is not avaliable ask if there is a replacement model or something along those lines.

Thanks for the info. You were right, the 6200 was replaced with the 6200IM, which is the one I went with and, so far, I'm very pleased with it's performance in all categories.
