New Customer? Existing? Phones to get....and not to get...
đ Nokia 3100, 3200, 3595, 3620, 3650, 6200, 6800, 6820
đ Motorola T721, V600
Also, I would DEFINITELY NOT GO with one of these following phones:
âšī¸ LG G4011, Motorola MPX200, NEC 515 or 525, Samsung X-426,
If I didn't list it, post a reply, and I will get back to you soon, but odds are if I didn't, I wouldn't highly recommend it.
I would definitely recommend the Nokia phones.
But, I would have to throw out the T721. Too many complaints similar to the v60 (poor reception, non-user friendly, etc).
I agree with your non-recommendation of the LG and MPX200 phones, but disagree with you about the NEC and Samsung phones. Along with Nokia, those are two of the best brands we have....again based on my experiences with customers.
Take it for what you will, but it ultimately comes down to the fact that what works/doesn't work for one person, may have the opposite effect for the other.
So, what does this all mean? Utilize the company's buyers remorse period....whether it be AWS or no...

JDigital said:The t730 (which I have) is actually a pretty damn good little phone. The earpiece I wish was a little louder, and the vibrate mode could, well, vibrate harder...but all in all I haven't had one problem with the thing. All for $50 bucks brand too! Gotta love being management in retail. ;)
that whole "T" series from Moto is a complete train wreck, so do yourself a favor and don't buy any of them.
JDigital said:OR, the slight upgrade Moto made to the t730 vs. the t720 actually made some sort of difference. I'm repeatedly knocking on wood to prevent infestations by "evil beasts".
Well I'm glad that you got a good one, but from what you've said you haven't had it for very long yet... I'm sure some people got T720's that work okay too, but that doesn't mean that overall it's a good phone. Either you got lucky, or there is an evil beast inside that phone biding its time and just waiting to come out... đ
1) Motorola T721, V600 -- Those two do NOT get a smiley face... ESPECIALLY the V600... that phone was one of the worst products ever as far as reception.
2) Nokia 6820 -- While this phone is great in features and reception, it has a flaw; the flip isn't too sturdy (ask Rich Brome, he critiqued on how it didn't lock into place).
3) The Samsung X426 is a great phone. While it does lack in some features (external caller id being the biggest), it is overall a great phone.

Other things I'd add that you didn't post about:
* Sony Ericsson phones are decent now as far as quality and reception. The earlier phones in their series were terrible though.
* Siemens are overall good phones. Overall i'd put em right under Nokia ...
