Unlimited data, better phones, merger?
With the introduction of an unlimited mmode data plan on AT&T and new higher end phones like the Samsung e316 and Nokia 6620, along with a GSM upgrade to WCDMA that's supposted to be coming sometime in 2005...even to mention the Cingular merger, all in all, what does this spell for carriers like Alltel?
In my area, there are only two main cell providers, AT&T and Alltel. With all that's going on in wireless news and such, it seems like AT&T has all the news and "best is yet to come" sort of talk...so does anyone know if Alltel is going to get a great data plan, merge with Verizon, get much better phones, or what might occur?
