I really like the Motorola MPx200, and yes I realize it's being replaced soon. But I can't figure out what I need to sign up for in order to synch with Outlook, be able to check my email away from home, and access the web. I know I need a national plan, but do I also need to sign up for mMode? Office Online w/ PC access? A data plan? I can't get ATT to give me a straight answer on what I need.

😲 You are probably asking why anyone would say that!!! But SunCom did. Once a member of the AT&T Wireless network SunCom is branding themselves as SunCom Wireless now. Anyone in local areas that SunCom covers maybe noticing that all their advertisements are no longer saying SunCom A Member of the AT&T Wireless Network. Now just say SunCom Wireless. Apparently a sign of things to come. SunCom is announcing a national roaming agreement with TMobile to provide SunCom customers the ability to roam on TMobile's GSM network and for TMobile customer's to roam on the SunCom GSM network where tMobile doesn't provide coverage. Situation: phone(v600) placed on a table in a room, 2-3 bars and good connection. I call the cell number from a home telephone number, the cell phone doesn't ring and on the land line phone I shortly arrive at the mailbox. Call after a couple of minutes, the phone call goes through perfectly.

I live in Canada and am moving to New York for university. I want to get the E316 and Amazon is selling it (with an AT&T plan) for free (with rebates). The only problem is that in Ithaca, AT&T coverage isn't too good, and I'd rather be on Cingular. If within 30 days of activating the phone, can I cancel without having to pay a ETF?

If so, does that mean I can purchase the phone, get the rebate (making the price = $0), and switch my number over to Cingular within 30 days and not have to pay AT&T anything?

With the introduction of an unlimited mmode data plan on AT&T and new higher end phones like the Samsung e316 and Nokia 6620, along with a GSM upgrade to WCDMA that's supposted to be coming sometime in 2005...even to mention the Cingular merger, all in all, what does this spell for carriers like Alltel?

In my area, there are only two main cell providers, AT&T and Alltel. With all that's going on in wireless news and such, it seems like AT&T has all the news and "best is yet to come" sort of talk...so does anyone know if Alltel is going to get a great data plan, merge with Verizon, get much better phones, or what might occur?

2) Is the 6620 the same phone as the 3620? If not what is the difference other than the design?

Okay, two days ago our center got our Resolutions Desk back. Hooray! I'm glad we got it back, but they didn't do anything with the infrastructure of it.

If you get a customer that is escalating, they have to wait up to 90 minutes for an RSD. If you're a rep, you dial in and all you get is a bloody busy signal! The poor RSDs are unable to decipher what type of calls they're going to get as nothing auto-pops for them, and here's the clincher, they are not going to get premium for all of their hard work! They'll end up getting the same wage just to be $h1t upon by someone that realises that he's in the wrong but is going to fight it anyway. I'm not generalizing about all customer's that escalat...
