w300i question
yes, i know there is a forum just for this phone, but i wanted to hear from people with cingular that have this phone. i had the 600 and a few people at work have the 810 and sony is a great product, has anyone had any reception issues with this phone? i want a phone just to carry when one of my pda's is to bulky.

I just got two of these phones yesterday (one for me and one for my son). I chose the w300i because I read many reviews that said the reception is excellent on this phone. We haven't even had them for 24 hours yet, but so far I love it. It had full bars in the Radioshack where I got it, at home, while driving around town and now here in my office at work. It also works flawlessly with the el-cheapo Motorola H300 headset I got at Wal-Mart. I'm impressed.

I just got one too, after looking at several models and brands.
The MP3 Walkman is killer, and the FM radio (which I listen to all day @ work) gets REALLY good reception.
I had to renew my contract and researched this phone thoroughly.
The only complaint (minor) that I have is the ringtones provided are kind of lame, and I miss the "Vibe-then Ring" feature of my Moto C370.
(The W300i has Vibe with Ring, Vibe only or Ring only, but it won't Vibe 3 or 4 times, THEN ring.)
Also, I'd like a "charge complete" message or similar -- there may be one but I haven't seen it yet!

SE phones display "Fully Charged" when the "charge is complete" (while off) Now, if the phone is on while is being charged... then the battery icon will stop flashing once the "charge is complete"
