I was once an ATTWS customer for several years, until they started to go to GSM from TDMA. Why would a company "blow 41 billions dollars" for a sick company?
Wouldn't it made more sense to use that money to upgrade their company? And please don't tell me they wanted ATTWS customer base. I was one of many thet left ATTWS in droves.

Because once the merger goes through thatswhen the real **** is gonna hit the Fan.First you say you were on the customers that left in Droves.Well guess what you back soon enough.

Next this is the best there are 4 carriers that have GSM technology on a national basis
1)ATT
2)Cingular
3)T-Mobile
4)Dobson aka US Cellular

Now the network for gsm on t-mobile and US and dobson is weak at best, its new massive lending off of AWS and Cingular.

So you want GSM serv you either go cingular or get the ****ty seconds or go digital with the rest. They once merger complete will set the prices for phones, plans and minutes you don't like your gsm phone who you gonna activate with
leave the AWS-Cingular juggernaut and either get poor service...
