Does Cingular utilize a secret shopping program at their Corporate retail locations?
What metrics are corp. retail reps held too? Are retail reps held to selling 3 features per gross add and 2 accessories or they get PIP's (put on performance improvement plans)?

yes there is a secret shopper program, and they look for a lot of stuff. you named one of them, but all they look for is if we offer them, not necessarily add them. of course, the company wants you to sell them, but as of right now, you don't get in trouble for not. rumor has it they are working on implementing a standard "attach rate" that we will need to be met. 👿
other than that, there's 6 pages of stuff you get graded on. my last secret shop i scored a 98 out of 100.

Other than that how do u like Cingular as a company to work for? Is the employee phone program really 2 lines with 1,000 min's shared? What is overage, roaming??? You also get DSL and Satellite TV at a discount is that correct?

Employees get 2 lines on top of their company line, one being 500 minutes, one being 1000 minutes. no roaming. i dont know about dsl/sat. i wouldnt want them anyways. i use VOIP, so i need cable. 😎

How is the quality of your VOIP? I have not experiemented with it yet but am very interested in the long distance savings.
How is the Company line with Cingular? It is unlimited voice & Data? Any update on Cingular launching EDGE in more markets?

my VOIP is great. i don't know what they talk abiut when they say call quality is lacking or what not. it sounds no different to me than a regular telephone - maybe even better. I use Vonage which actually lets you adjust how much bandwidth you use to improve call quality. I pay like $37/mo for unlimited calling US+Can, but that icludes the $5 extra i pay for a second phone number in the 770 area code for my mother to call me "l...
