Honest question: are you bi-polar? You were just in the Verizon forum calling the MAXX a joke and trumpeting that Cingular's v3xx was much better. Now you're in the Cingular forum calling the v3xx just another "crappy RAZR?"

I doubt you have ever even touched one of these phones because if you had, you would know it's the most solid model of the RAZR styling to date. There are very, very, very (I stress the very) few problems with this phone and it's physical structure and durability is definitely not one of them.

Anybody interested in this phone, please check out the reviews on this site. It has the highest rating (other than the KRZR) of any Cingular phone that is currently being offered.

As for you Sprint74, do us all a favor; go...

Yeah i've had my fun with Sprint74 in the past...lol....to me other than a 2MP camera the v3xx has the KRZR beat in everyway...

....the only problem i have found with the phone, which was pointed out to me in this forum is google maps, you can use it, it just becomes tiresome having to grant it access to the internet for every little thing you do.

I've read about the permissions problem on here and other places on the internet before, but I've never had the same issue and I experimented with Google Maps the day I got the phone.

I have no idea why it wouldn't be doing the same thing for me...but it has yet to pose a problem.

The SE w810 is higher too 🙂 but I am not discounting the V3XX at all. I've heard its a great phone.....so sandwich the w810 in between the KRZR and V3XX and Cingular is offering 3 SUPERB phones currently.

i would also have to say that the CU500, CU400, and SYNC are no slouches when it comes to phones either, and when your looking at the data side of things, you've gotta love the blackjack, 8525, 750, 8800, and the pearl...

I just wish they would hurry up with the n75, and stop delaying it....

in our market, no contract 299.99 with 50.00 mail in rebate or 149.99 (2 year) with 50.00 mail in rebate. also an additional 50.00 instant discount if you get a media max plan.

So wal-marts retail price is $280 before rebate? That makes a little more sense, but it's still a remarkably low mark up. I guess their buying in bulk pays off somewhere.

Nooooo. MY price is $280 before rebates. And we're indirect... not bad though considering our cost. 😎

Let me throw my .02 in on this and ask what everyone thinks of Letstalk.com. I'm kind of leaning towards the V3xx instead of the Sync and with a new contract, the V3xx is free. Any thoughts or am I about to make a huge mistake?

I know lots of people who have used them without any problems.. Tex will tell you they suck because they don't give you the warm and fuzzies like the personal attention of "your cell phone guy" and lots of others will warn you of issues and wierd things that may happen, like rebates are after 6 months of service etc..

With anything..just do the research and you should be able to make the right decision..

Actually I have got the warm and fuzzies from them. Nice sounding young lady. That's what kind of put me on the defensive. I have heard about rebate troubles especially with Wirefly but the V3xx is free from the start from Letstalk. I have done some research and asked many questions. Evidently they get paid when you've been a customer for six months then your provider pays them. So far so good. My contract is up on the 27th of this month so we'll see. I'm leaning towards the V3xx but the SYNC is a very close second. Thanks! Cheers! 😁

Also. as far as phone choices you have there.. I reluctanly picked up a V3xx to try out the 3g and I was really impressed...It gets surprisingly good reception and the UI is pretty snappy.. Its the first Moto I would recommend in forever.. I think the consensus on here is also the V3xx over almost anything (non-pda)..from what I can tell..except maybe the w810..but thats not 3G..

Good Luck
