downloading aol instant messenger - Please HELP
Please help...how do you download aol im to a Motorola v400? I have registered on media net, followed all the instructions, but the application is not on my phone. How do I get it on the phone.

Gotta get the newest version of the firmware, which may not even be out yet. Just set up IM Forwarding through AIM. It works well, just doesn't have a buddy list.

no you dont...go to "web access" from your v400, then go to "im&chat" then "mobile IM", then follow along...after downloading it, IM will be under "games"

The file downloaded is Mobile.jar its Java..
once installed you get the following
Aim
Yahoo
CIQ
just select your client, hightlight user/pass and just enter your user/pass click Sign in
on the v400 i was using i kept getting Error no network which makes sense cause the phone wasnt connecting to gprs. ill look into alittle more.
