Blackberry 8800/pearl question
I'm trying to switch from the pearl to the 8800. I wanted to bluetooth all of my pictures over from the pearl. I can not find how to put the 8800 into discoverable mode ANYWHERE. I know there are other ways to transfer my pictures over, but because I can not figure out how to do this I am determined. Any ideas?

goto your media then pictures folder on the 8800 then hit menu and select recieve via bluetooth ;)

That works, but the pearl has to find the device to send the pictures to. There is no way for the pearl to search for the device because it is not in discovery mode. Thanks for the help, though!

you need to just plug it into your computer and hit backup device and select your multimedia stuff
it will create a backup file
then plug the 8800 in and hit restore device and use your back up file to store all the pictures.
This would be easiest if you have more than a few pictures, and would also copy all of your settings.
