New V600 issue

All of a sudden on 10/1 my wife started getting service in areas she hadn't before, including our house. Now if she receives an incoming call on the cell when at home the phone freezes after aboug 1 min.

Is this part of the original V600 issue?

We'd waited to send the phone back hoping to wait until after the phones' permananent replacement was available so we would only have to do one swap...

Anyone work for Cing have advice?

I work for Cingular in the Michigan/Great Lakes region. I have a few suggestions for you.
#1-Call customer service from your area and ask them if they participate in the "Handset Exchange by Mail" program (try calling 800.801.1101) They should just replace your phone.
#2-In the mean time, go to a store and buy a plastic faceplate. Someone from Motorola told me part of the problem in the metal housing on the phone blocking the signal. My co-worker tried this and loves his V600 now.
#3-Motorolas can be kinda weird. Go into the menu, settings, initial setup and down to "master reset" (make sure you DO NOT do "master clear") A lot of the time a master reset will fix a lot of issues. If it asks for your security code it should be 000000...

What are they replacing it with?

Will they send me the permanent replacement and that's that?

Or will they send a 400 and when the 551 or 620 is ready they send that and we'll have to do a second swap?
