One thing I know that COR people hate, like my friend Evey, is when customers come into their store & say "I dropped my phone in water." They ask HOW & the customer replies "... In the toilet." Thats just sick! You are seriusly gonna hand that phone to the COR rep? Who wants your poopie germs?!

You could try to let it dry out for a few days. Might work, might not. I dropped a phone in water (not a toilet) a while back & it worked partially. Got me through til I could get something new. FYI, you can kiss your warranty goodbye.....

Good to know... One thing you might try is opening up the phone & use some canned air. Just be careful not to break anything...

Many electrical devices will be fine after exposure to water IF YOU LET IT DRY COMPLETELY before trying to use them again. If you try to power it up while there's water on the circuits, you'll ruin it. Good luck.

Let it dry in a warm, dry environment (close to a heater vent or out of direct sunlight but in your car on a warm day, etc.). If the water wasn't very hard (minerals) the corrosion could be kept to a minimum. I don't recommend taking it apart unless you have some technical knowledge. Could do more harm than good.
