6620 or the T637

I currently have service with Cingular with the V400. I have had a lot of problems with it and have exchanged it out twice so I am looking for something better. I also want to get out of a flip phone if I could. I have been looking at these two phones for the bluetooth. Camera and video are not a necessity but they are a plus. Any feedback with problems or personal experience with the models would be greatly appreciated...

Thanks 😁

BEST OUT OF THE 2:
-RECEPTION= I GO WITH 6620. I HAD SIGNAL IN THE ELEVATOR, CONVERSATION AND ALL.
-BLUETOOTH=I LIKE T637, ALTHOUGH BOTH PHONES WORK VERY WELL THE T637'S BLUETOOTH INTERFACE IS VERY EASY TO ENABLE AND VERY USER FREINDLY.
-CAMERA: 6620, HAS HIGHER RESOLUTION AND HAS VIDEO. T637 QUALITY NOT VERY GOOD AND DOES NOT HAS AS MUCH STORAGE SPACE IF YOU HAVE RINGTONES AND OTHER THINGS SAVED ON THE PHONE.
-STORAGE: 6620 HAS ABOUT 16MEG IN PHONE AND HAS 32MEG ON DETACHABLE CARD, T637 HAS ABOUT 2MEG.
-INTERNET: 6620HAS WAP AND SUPPORTS FULL HTML BROWSING WHICH REALLY COMES IN HANDY WHILE AT WORK AND DO NOT WANT TO USE COMPANY COMPUTER. THE T637 SUPPORTS WAP.
-MUSIC/MP3/RINGTONES: 6620 HAS MP3 PLAYER, SUPERTONES AND 24TONE POLYPHONI...

I went to a cingular corporate store in San Diego a couple of days ago and they have not received them yet. Also Does anyone know if you can charge things to your bill??

Doubt it.. You might be able to do via telesales by calling Cingular but I doubt they will bill to mobile.

I think I will too... I don't have the extra $499.99 to drop on a phone right now 😢

Nice phone.. I had the 6600 before but this one has EDGE 😁. I'm currently using a prototype 6620. Needs software update though.

How is the phone all together?? I heard this Nokia is really easy to operate. I also like the T9 text impute. Reception wise how is the phone your testing? Is there any major software problems or is there just a new one out?

Thanks again

Great all around phone! If you used the 3600, it's almost the same but improved. There are a lot of applications available for the phone, RF is really good and BT is good also. The fact that I'm using a prototype, I can't tell you about any software problems because this one does have some but again, its a prototype.

I have never used a Nokia before I used to be with Verizon so I have mostly used LG which are very easy to use. I have heard great things about the OS software on this 6620 phone. Don't worry I wasn't expecting you to release info about the prototype I have tested phones in the past and know how that goes 😉 Any idea on the release date on this phone? Also and info on the 6230??

Thanks 😁
