Try it out for 30 days and see for yourself. This place has gotten real bad when it comes to someone asking a question like this. Usually someone from VZ will comment and the flame begins. I personally have not experienced any of the negative stuff but maybe its just the market where I live.

I was with Verizon for years and I just switched to Cingular a few months ago. I am very happy with Cingular. I honestly think how happy you will be, depends on a few things like your service area and the phone you choose. I went with the Sony w300i mostly because I have read many places that the Sony phones have great reception. I have found that to be true. I also must live in a good area because I have had a good strong signal everywhere and no dropped calls at all. Like was already mentioned...try it out for the 30 period and see what you think.

I have experienced static and echoing only with certain phone models. The razr v3,and l6 and l7 and all the samsungs besides the sync are the most notorious for these issues.
