Smartphone data plan applicable on all HTC devices?
Just got off the phone with a gal at B2B CS and she told me that all HTC/Cingular branded devices can use the smartphone plan and dont require the pda connect.. i his true?

Been confirmed over and over again. 2125 and 3125, no problem. 8525 and 8125, PDA Connect. And if you want tethering you need laptop connect.
If she will put it on for you then get her first name, last name, ID, first born name, etc. cause if you get hit with 1 cent per kb charges you will need it to get the credits.

The "Laptop Connect" for $59.99 would cover you for the phone and the tethering.

Cingular does not have any significant caps. I know things like webhosting, etc. are disallowed. You would need to read the terms and conditions. At this time they do not severly limit the usage as Verizon does.
