the 19.99 plan will be UNLIMITED instead of current 3,000 and the supposed change to 6,000 🙂. In addition to the 19.99 for unlimited messanging.....all the text packages have been re-worked and are at the same pricing levels.............OUR DAY HAS FINNALY COME. And 'In your face to all of the people that say..........OMG your insane if you send 1,000, 2,000, 3,000 text messages"

any updates/new info? Surley some CSR's must have some more input on this. Also......question, if you are already on a 3000 text package, is the change automatic to go to unlimited, or you have to call?

I have read that you have to call in that you are not automatically upgraded if that helps.

How about on Family plans??? Is there gonna be unlimited sharable messaging plans, by ANY chance, like T-Mobile??? I hope so! I currently have a 19.99 plan for 1000 sharable messages (Blue customer). My kids are starting to go over a little.

Switch to VZW, you will get better coverage, better customer service and unlimited texting on the entire family share plan for only $30.00. Sounds like a much better deal to me.

I haven't checked out Verizon yet, but T-Mobile has unlimited sharable messages for 19.99 I'm considering this because we all have unlocked quad band phones. I've been ATT for many, many years now. I think just about since they first started their wireless service, now that I think of it. But this text messaging is a concern for me with this family plan. I do have a great plan - only charged for outgoing texts, for example - but I'm realy starting to want the unlimited messaging, since I see other carriers have it! If I'm gonna migrate, I might as well not limited my "migrating" thoughts to ATT!

verizon may claim better coverage ,but it all depends on where you are. if you have cingular ...
