Bluetooth file sending?

Does anyone know how to do proper file sending with bluetooth? I have given my phone a name, and turned bluetooth on, and my friends phone is right next to mine and i try to do a bluetooth file send and it wont work. She has the new LG VX-9400 and uses Verizon. Is this the problem? It descivoers both of our phones but when I go to send anything it says connection failed. I have trid to send built in pictures and pictures I take my self on the cameria.

Yeah there in lies the prob, I can send pics via BT from my phone to PC, but I cannot to my friend who has the chocolate, why you ask? they are crippled. When I am connected to his chocolate my device discovers his, but doesn't give me the option to send the pic or file via BT...

It has everything to do with that persons Verizon phone and nothing to do with yours...I am able to do it with my CINGY 8525, and actually did just last night with this pic i took of a squirrel getting in a fight with a roadrunner (which I found completely odd) and sent it my PC via BT with my Samsung SYNCH. Verizon cripples the bluetooth on their phones so that you can't perform OBEX, which means no picture, music, or file sharing of any kind....
