comparing cingular to tmobile is like comparing toyota to kia... you pay more for cingular, but you also get better service all the way around.

I've noticed that everything I use customer service can be done by the customer if they were educated about it. Maybe specific departments like billing and technical for real problems but otherwise not. Cingular has iffy customer service but they have service T-Mobile needs to give everything away to get your business.

Yeah; the Customer Service is rude, even to it's fellow co-workers. If I ever go back to Cingular (other than my Go Phone), It damn sure ain't for hte customer.

Doubt it. While they want to remain competitive until T-Mobile matches them in coverage and network capacity they will not lower their prices to match. Return on investment.

As far as I know, its $20 for unlimited and $30 for family share. I think thats unlimited to anyone, but dont quote me on that. I hope its everyone, maybe that will "urge" Cingular to do it as well.

You are correct. It is unlimited to all.

I'm hoping Cingular follows suit because I pay a fortune for text messaging between my wife and myself.

However, $30 per month covers as many lines as you have w/ Verizon. Pretty ****ing good, huh?
