calling, calling, calling....
Guys, I have been hearing from my friends about this issue while attempting to place a phone call for more than a month. After pressing "Send" their phones say calling.. calling.. calling.. for more than 30 secs and nothing. One friend tells me that sometimes while his phone shows "calling" the person on the other end says hello, but they hear nothing but dead air. The people who tells me this have 3G phones.
Today it happened to ME! (I don't have a 3G phone) 😳 I tried calling my voicemail and my phone started the seconds count and the voicemail recording didn't come on. I waited until almost a minute and nothing happened. What could cause this? Even though my phone didn't say calling...calling.. like my friends' still the call went thr...

Their tech department will need the dates and times of the failed calls, as well as the destination and source phone numbers. With this info, they should be able to track down which line is bad. Most often, it is a bad circuit board that causes these issues.

well that must be frustrating, these types of issues are the reason I will never join cingular. My friend has cinguar and he will have five bars and not be able to place a call, since he's my friend I always lend him my verizon phone.

I have had that happen to me a several times as well. I pick up my wife for lunch during the week and when I get close to her building I call her so she can meet me downstairs.
