2 questions because i'm lazy

1. anyone use any type of banking program or finance program on their phone. i had one way back in the day on my sony 637 i got from handango, but they don't offer it anymore.

2. what's the highest memory card anyone has used for the w810?

I have a 2GB. I've heard others put a 4GB card in their Cingular branded w810i, only to find out that the phone registers the 4GB as a 2GB. I've heard that de-branding the phone will make it recognize the 4GB as such.

Question 1 - no clue.

Question 2 - I have 2G SE pro-duo in mine. I am told that it does support a 4G by my rep. Be sure you get the OEM card and not the sandisk version....hear of incompatability issues.

I've used a Sandisk 4GB for quite sometime, with zero issues. My phone is unlocked and unbranded though.

1. Most PDA/smartphone/BlackBerry device's browsers aren't granted access to banking websites for security reasons. Maybe if you had a specific program that was designed for that particular bank it would work, but not to go on their website.

2. The Sony Ericsson W810 will support 4 GB and under. The phone only supports the FAT16 filesystem on the card and cards bigger than 4 GB use FAT32 (you guys might remember drive partitions with Windows 95 b...

I use my personal and business online banking as well as paypal on my phone by using opera mini, never have had a problem

If it is a small regional bank it might be fine, but banks like Bank of America, Chase, and Wells Fargo I know for a fact will deny you access.

yea but i was asking for a program, like quicken or something java based...

I'm sure if there was a java app for your bank only they would distribute it. I doubt 3rd party banking apps would be allowed access into the bank's systems.

no. it wasn't anything to do with the bank. it was just a program that let you input debits and credits...
