Rate your Cingular Service!!
I am new to this whole...searching for new cellular service, but I was forced into this. I have been with Nextel for almost 9 years and since the merger (although people say it has nothing to do with it) my reception is horrible at best! I frequently drop calls (on interstate highways) and hear myself talking back at me when on a call.
I am thinking of going to Cingular or the Sprint side...Can anyone tell me their thoughts on this, as I don't know anyone who has Cingular in the Southwest area of Michigan... It shows that Cingular has good coverage in this area, but it appears on paper to look the same as Sprint...Any suggestions or advice? Any help will certainly be appreciated! 🙂

I would also like people on cingular/ATT to respond, they claim to have the largest network or customers, but I only know two people who have them. I know more people on vzw,tmobil,alltel.
I would like to switch it seems they have the newest phones out first, and a faster network, they are goung 3 G , but it also seems their price plans are a little on the high side.

It is great where I live and getting better. I think you guys are going to get the best idea of what your service will be like if you just sign up and you have 30 days to make up your mind.

Not sure about the Q9h, I'm sure it won't be here at least until the Treo 750 gets its WM6 update... which hasnt happened yet.

Yes that is why I am asking about the Q9h, I think the 3G is probably the fastest service going, probably faster than EVDO.
I was going to get the blackjack but it has no usb port, you have to use their special cable, no ir, no head phone jack, I guess they want you to do everything bluetooth.
But I think you will probably be able to get more accesories for the motorola.
It seems like a good phone from what I have seen on the internet.

Yes, and see where it says AT&T (tentative) and T-mobile (tentative)? That means it MIGHT come to these carriers. It has not been officially released.

Chainsaw..Where are you from? Michigan here and I don't know anyone who has Cingular, but it looks very attractive, especially being I have At&t home service...With the unity plans and all... 🙂
