I see that Cingular/AT&T has finally released an Express Card. However it doesnt mention anything about support for Macs on the Cingular website. Anyone have any input on the subject?

It's possible that the drivers for the card won't be necessary (how often are drivers an issue with a mac?), but the main issue is the lack of the Cingular Connection Manager software for Mac. Without that, it may be a little tough to get the car configured, though it is on a mac after all. 😉

I'm pretty sure that just like on windows, you can go in and make a manual connection. It's just the Cingular Communication Manager that doesn't work.

This is the address we were told direct customers to so they can download the Mac software.

www.option.com/support/cingular

Username: cingular
Password: option

This isn't insider info, we were told to give this to customers so they can download the correct drivers if they run a Mac system.

I believe that's for the option card? There is sierra card programs online as well but I don't have a link.

Keep in mind all these programs are doing for you is putting in the settings for their card automatically. You can also create a manual connection.

Have you seen the USB data card yet? People could use it on their home computer and their laptop. Pretty smart, IMO.

Yea we got the demo in today. Very smart move indeed.

Did u see the new nokia dummy phone? I can't find any info on it, but it looks like a hot lil phone, basic but hot.
