I've seen no 'official' news about the a717 coming to AT&T. I say official because chances are, we will get it. The only slider we have, which is on it's way out, is the d807. Which is the suck. The upstage, I wouldn't count on. I played with one and wasn't impressed. Even if AT&T gets something similar, I know my store won't stock it.

im just curious as to if anyone knows what could be coming out later on this year, say after august because ill be upgrade eligible after that. i like some of the phones that are out now but i dont want to get something now and then have something come out less than a month later.

You will ALWAYS have that problem. Working in this industry has cursed me because I'm buying a new phone every three to four weeks. And keeping them all. As for around August, no clue. Expect cheap prices though. I expect with the iPhone hype the other manufacturers will drop their prices to compete. Watch then for the best sales.

Well just remember the policy changes on May 19th as to upgrades. On may 19th and going forward, the only options for phones will be 2 year renewal pricing or "full retail" no commitment pricing, there will be no more 1 year renewal prices./
