Hello,
I am currently on a cingular GAIT plan originating in AL. I am considering going to a GSM only nationwide plan, so I put my SIM card in an unlocked 6310i phone to asses my coverage in critical areas. I find it works fine everywhere EXCEPT ATL.
It works in DC, my home location, etc. Only ATL seems to be afflicted with this problem. I have searched this forum, groups.google to no avail. Can anyone lend insight?
Tks, ric

the 6310i is not an 800mhz phone, only 1900 (as far as cingular's freq. are concerned). This phone will only work on cingular's network is SOME markets.

Excellent. Just the insight I needed. Is there a way, map, etc which shows the freq that Cingular is using in a given area?
