I think Cingular should start advertising its phones more than...

The fewest dropped calls. I mean, look at the N75! Verizon only wishes to have anything similar to it! The w810 is still the killer of all mid range music phones. I'm sick of seeing the fewest dropped calls commercials, I wish Cingular would just show more its products.

I think they should stop airing the unlimited text messaging for 4.99 commercial. 🙄

Agreed, agreed, agreed. It's just ASKING for misinterpretation, particularly now that there's the Unlimited Msg 19.99 feature, and the commercial says NOTHING about Cingular-to-Cingular only except possibly in microscopic fine print.

If there is any question that I'm tired of answering, it's "What about the 4.99 free messaging". Makes me want to kill the advertising committee.

I agree! I get that question everyday.

I was talking to a customer about the BJ today but he didn't want data. I told him that's fine, but he would only get the MIR with a PDA package or the 19.99 Unlimited text. The next question of course was, "Isn't that only $5?"

Advertising did a good job in that it's getting people to come in or call in, but man is it misleading.

Who needs the 9900 when you can have the 8525. Can you even do half the things I could do on the 8525? Can you talk on your phone as you browse the internet? What are your browsing speeds in a non-3G area?

Ok when Im talking about great phone to have for a carrier Im not talking about the phone with the most features. I understand 99% of everyone on this site (including me) is a phone geek and we have to have all this extra sweet stuff on our phones. But for the bulk of the market, and Im talking the bulk of 55mil customers dont give a peice a poop for all that extra stuff. The enV has great features with excellent customer approval. We can sit here and argue all day about which phone is the best but when it comes down to it, all that matters is how many people actually buy the phone, and of those people how satisfied are they with there product. And look for yourself the enV on this site has an average user rating of 4.63 that means over 9 ou...

I work in the cingular's telesales dept and the N75 is bringing a lot of customers from Vz. Since that phone came out I've had about 8 ports from Vz. And about 10 new activations (new numbers). 1 port from Tmobile and 5 from Sprint. This phone is getting a lot of attention from people, and even your "loyal Vz customers" are ditching you for it. Take into consideration that the iPhone is not even out!

OUCH!!!!
