As far as the iPhone goes-- Apple is BIG on design, but not so much for pre-testing (How many generations of iPod had to get released before they functioned bug-less? I know I personally went through 3) iPhone is something I'd wait a while for, just to see reviews and what kind of glitches are going to need worked out...

ive personally never had a moto, but...their outselling the sanyo's and samsungs in the states..something must be good.

Nokia phones out perform the motos all day long but can u get a quality nokia in the states like they have over seas hell No ....a no one will pay the price plus the FCC hsa so many regulations and limitations that they won't allow Nokoia phones in the states half the time cause something is wrong with them
but we can get every single garbage moto razor to pass the tests ...

--Has removable memory, thus not limited in storage capacity.

All other advantages it might are subjective.
The iPhone would be able to play nondrm'd mp3s as well as iTunes, has wifi (which is arguably just as good as 3G, or works well enough for some folks), and then there's everything else we don't yet know about it. There's bound to be some surprises in there.
