Motorola to come out with iPHONE KILLER...5/14??????
In gizmodo its hinted that motorola will be unveiling a new innovative device set to precede the iphone..and create the same raze as the razr did when first released....any thoughts...? any leaks...? on what this might be...?

Honestly, I will pass on anything Motorola puts out. The V3xx is the first moto that hasn't been overcome with bugs/glitches (and it still has a few), and it only took them 3 years since the launch of the RAZR to get it somewhat right.... yeah, not gonna waste my money.

True..but their hinting this to be more of a pda..device..maybe a q with touchscreen integrated pda and much more...could be something new..if their planing on competing with the iphone...

I agree with passing on anything moto puts out. Horrible reception highest radiation output and well horrible reception. That is what we still use a phone for isn't it. Either PDA phone or not. If you don't want it for a phone there are way better PDA's out there that doesn't have a phone!

But I'm not excited by ANYTHING Motorola releases anymore, unless they completely redeisgn their software. All they are doing is re-releasing a body style of a phone that, in all honesty, is not that great. Battery-wise, it doesn't do a bad job, but my Samsung kicks the Rzr's @$$ when it comes to signal strength and menu systems.
As far as the iPhone goes-- Apple is BIG on design, but not so much for pre-testing (How many generations of iPod had to get released before they functioned bug-less? I know I personally went through 3) iPhone is something I'd wait a while for, just to see reviews and what kind of glitches are going to need worked out...

Yes- I feel slightly ashamed. Although mine was given to me free to use as a backup to my Samsung... so at least I didn't pay for it. It's through T-Mobile, though, not Cingular.

Nokia phones out perform the motos all day long but can u get a quality nokia in the states like they have over seas hell No ....a no one will pay the price plus the FCC hsa so many regulations and limitations that they won't allow Nokoia phones in the states half the time cause something is wrong with them
but we can get every single garbage moto razor to pass the tests ...

The only real advantages the Blackjack has over the iPhone would be expandable memory, enterprise email access, and 3G data speeds.
All other advantages it might are subjective.
The iPhone would be able to play nondrm'd mp3s as well as iTunes, has wifi (which is arguably just as good as 3G, or works well enough for some folks), and then there's everything else we don't yet know about it. There's bound to be some surprises in there.

whats so great about the black jack>>>? its basically just a motorola q...or a glorified 2way pager...does it even have word/adobe manipulation...? its not even touch screen..with a dumb scroll wheel...blackberry black jack garbage...it cant even compete with the treo.
