Cingular: Good or Bad?
I'm switching phone companies because Verizon has unhelpful customer service and can't manage to fix their billing errors in a timely manner (3 months!) or keep good records. Does anyone know if Cingular is helpful or even cares if you run into billing errors or other problems? Do they fix them in a timely manner? I'm just looking for the real deal on the overall service. After what I've been through, I can take it. Thanks!

Cingular by far is the #1 company with soon pust to talk, and rollover. As far as billing errors, not saying your going to get one, but every company has them, as for return time on fixing the problem the problem is usually fixed within a few days, and if credit is needed over $400 usually just a few days more. But return time is usually great with any billing errors are concerned. But living in ocala, FL with a v400 ive have very few dropped calls.

for AWS, we have a pretty easy customer death policy. if the acct is not in collections, then the acct can be cxl'd w/o ETF and w/o a death certificate. or the spouse can have the acct name changed to theirs w/o credit check and w/o death certificate

That's pretty much was a Cingular rep told me on here, on my original post "What if you die with Cingular."
Looking back, I was a fool for paying the Verizon balance since a dead person's credit doesn't matter, and they ended up canceling me any way. Live and learn, I guess.
