NEED HELP ASAP
Ok i have the nokia 6230, tried signing on AIM on it but it never would go through. Now when I am on my pc, and talk to people on AIM , everytime I get a message my phone says NEW ITEM IM CLIENT....how do i stop this?

total guess here, so if i'm wrong, forgive me...
try going back to the IM part of your phone and look for a sign off option. even though you said it never worked right, AIM obviously is showing it did. sorry, but not familiar enough w/ Cingular's works to get any more specific than that

when you sign on to aim or aol it should give you a message saying you are online in 2 places if you send a message back to it the message being 1 it will log you out of your phone i have yet to figure out why it does that myself but that is the only way i know of the log out of it right now
