PHONE SUCKS.....
i waited six months to get the n75 now i have it and the phone has several problems, first the battery im getting only 1 1/2 hrs talk time without web browsing or anything, also a hissing noise on speaker phone and regular use as well, i went to the store to try to exchange it and the one they had there was also making the noise, im about to take it back and get a blackjack only 75 bucks you cant beat that...anyone here have any helpful info...thanks

Alot of Nokia phones will hiss if the back light is on. Once the light goes off the hissing will stop. Nokia N Series is a Seriously superior phone to most phones on the market today. With the N75, Cingular has crippled some of the most impressive features of the N Series (symbian 60). Try a Unbranded version of the N series and you will see a big difference. Either ways the N75 is a good solid phone and is a steal at 200 bucks. (I agree can't beat 75 bucks for the blackjack but i am not a fan of Windows mobile). Hope this helps

I'll second the backlite thing (happened on my 6682), but I've got to say that I don't know of anything that's been crippled for this phone. There's lots of Cingular branded software junk, but this phone was designed for Cingular, so there's not anything the phone was intended to have that was left off.
I've yet to get around to buying an N75, but reports like this make me cautious. Yes, I would expect low battery life when doing 3G browsing, but 1.5 hours? Yikes. . .

1.5 hours sounds a little low....mine is online almost always.. The battery life isn't great..but its not blackjack bad..
I have also read there might be some kind of fix for the hissing.. something about the brightness..who knows.. Mine doesn't buzz..
Designed for Cingy or not.. its Symbian first.. have heard some whispers of difficulty installing GPS software
Anywho. I am a big fan of it the device..and I really love the keypad.

i have the BJ and well i am getting the n75
the hissing i had the same problem with my 6682
then the battery life
after u use the batter a bit it will start lasting longer
thats how the BJ was
finally my batteries are lasting about a day and half with average uses
otherwise
the n75 is much better than the bj
its a flip phone with big screen
the camera is way better
symbian isn't like mac so alot of apps are out there for it
just got to play with it a bit longer
u got 30 days right
