i'm eligible for an upgrade and was thinking about getting a n75 or a blackjack, i read on some of the reviews that the n75 has some issues as of right now, i went to a corp. store and i noticed that all the reps had blackjacks and a few of them loved the phone, ive noticed that its also on sale right now, i just wanted some advice on both phones to see if i can decide. thanks

ive heard people say really good things about the phone but most the xchanges are done b/c of droped calls and prob making/receiving calls....dsnt mean that will happen to you, just sayin

n75 hasnt been out long enough for me to hear much about it....plus i dont deal with those phones, only phones like the blackjack, treos, blackberrys....

You should really consider the Blackjack.

I tried to convince myself of a reason I did not like it.... lol...I ended up exchanging it for a Pearl and N75...Thoes, to me, are nothing compared to the Blackjack.

Pearl = No 3G. For me that's not good.

N75 = Has 3G. But from what I personally have found in my area it is not as fast.

With the blackjack, in my state, IL, I have never dropped a call. I ALWAYS Have service, weather it be 3G, EDGE, or GPRS there is some kind of signal. In places where my RAZR, PEARL, N75, and TREO 750 Dropped a call, the blackjack hold strong.

Since you have 30 days to try it out. Get the blackjack first is my recommendation. Easy to use, and a nice slim phone. Very powerful.

Really try it...I don't...

It's because people don't power cycle their phones frequently enough. I've never had a problem with my Blackjack nor have any of my customers....

Just get the Blackjack. It's an unbeatable price point and it comes with a free extended batter to boot! And power cycle your phone once in a while and don't overcharge (too frequently) the batteries.

Power cycling is just turning the phone off and back on. Some issues that can happen are due to specific connections and not the network/tower. Turning it off and back on means you start over with a fresh connection, and can fix all sorts of minor oddities.

Power Cycling is just a fancy way of saying turn the phone off and turn it back on.

Basically if you still have 70% battery, don't charge it.

Also, don't charge it for 5 minutes, take it out, put it back and so forth. And avoid using car chargers except for emergencies!
