We all know about iphone dropping June17 but do you think since at&t has been advertising no longer as the "NEW" but just as at&t. they will be dropping more phones at&t branded over the summer? they usually drop a couple new phones during the summer so kids can blow their money on new phones.

All new phones coming out should be branded with the ATT logo (with the exception of the N75 which will be rebranded later this year).

That is to early according to all the press releases from ATT & Apple. Everything says late june.
I wouldn't say the 17th though. That's a Sunday (right?). Apple tends to release new toys on Tuesdays. I say Jobs announces a date on the 11th, but it will either be for the 19th or the 26th.

Yep, heard it this morning on the news... looks like the iPhone commanded a full 5 mintues of this mornings news. Will it get a whole half hour when it actually comes out?

does any one know if the stores are going to get a lot of them in or only a few like they normaly do. also, is apple going to have a midnight sale when it is released? at the mac stores.

I doubt it as AT&T's activation department would have to be open for that to happen, which would require AT&T paying a shift differential.. very unlikely.

what do you think about the amount of phones they would recieve. when the moto q came out for verizon the stores got like a 100 in at a time. when the n75 came out or any high end phone the stores get like 5 of them. i hope it is not really impossible to get on the 29th.

I think the amount of phones will be healthy in the stores. Remember no agents are getting them, so that eliminates having to stock all those stores.
I'd venture a guess and say at least 10-20 per store on launch day.
