Rich and Eric are advertising this link on their website:
http://www.bonusbrands.net/switch.mpr?config=2419&sr ... »

It allows you to get a free i phone. They should not delete this post since they are advertising it. I have already done it and got approved for signing for all the offers and they will be sending my iphone in a month!
When you are finished signing up for all the offers, wait like six days like I did and call and cancel all of them and if you recieved anything in the mail, return it to sender. You will still get your free iphone!

You can not get an Iphone for nothing. The only way that Apple is giving them out is with a two year contract. You can not even buy it retail.

It's worth asking: Did you just discover the internet? What connection to the US mobile phone industry do you have that you actually believe that you get any phone for "free", much less the single most anticipated device ever? A device that, coincidentally, has been publicly stated to be unavailable through any sales channels except the manufacturer & the carrier - you really believe that you'll get one "free" within your lifetime?

There's simply not a polite way to say it: you, sir, are a fool. 🙄

As a side note: If that is really a link that appears in the adspace of this site, it's almost certainly not something Rich & the army of Erics agreed to specifically, but rather the adspace will be populated (by...

Yup. 🙄

My wife (God bless her. . .) once signed up for something similar (though to her credit, the offer seemed much more legit), and 5 years later, she's still getting junk mail at her old address (which her parents still own).

The fine print on that iPhone offer is 3x what I've seen on even the most aggressive offers.

Weather or not this thing is real doesn't make it right to attack/ beat up, jmoney921.
All over phonescoop forums, its the same thing. attack, attack, attack... So much for constructive criticism.
Would it hurt so much to be nice for once.
IF YOU DON'T HAVE SOMETHING NICE TO SAY DONT SAY IT AT ALL!

What's being discussed here is much different from the totally subjective "Verizon SuX! Cingular RULEZ!" and vice versa. There's much more petty things that are being discussed.

In this case, though, jmoney is making himself a target by having absolutely credulity in the offer. Even a cursory examination of the terms is intimidating, and when one looks into the details of "2 Silver, 2 Gold and 6 Platinum offers. Purchase may be required", you'll see there's so many strings attached you might as well open a harp store.

Also, some of his comments (since deleted) were, shall we say, less than civil.

i am closing this topic, but before i do please let me make the following clear.

1. phonescoop is part of an advertising network. we do not select our advertisers, our network does. this is to ensure a separation between our day-to-day editorial duties and making money.

2. phonescoop do NOT condone any sort of pyramid scheme or other sign up scheme that promises anything for free. they are suspect at best.

3. the appropriate thing to do if you ever notice an ad for one of these websites or any similar type of offer is to click the "contact us" link to the left there and let us know. we will inform our advertising network and have the sponsor removed immediately.

thank you.

eric
