I Phone
If apple really wanted their phone to sell good, they would release it with every carrier just like motorola did with their razr and that was a success.

The RAZR wasn't released with every carrier initially, it was exclusively Cingular for almost a year.

Apple & AT&T have not confirmed it's 5 years, that's just speculation, fed by something mentioned in a USA Today story. It will be at least 2 years, that's for sure, but as to when it will be on other U.S. carriers?
I suspect it won't be 5 years. Motorola was very smart with the RAZR - they kept it exclusive long enough to build demand for it on other carriers, then released it, eventually to everyone. Apple is far more business savvy than Moto, and they'll see the drop in demand, and respond accordingly. Remember that they have all the power in this deal, not AT&T, which is one of the more significant things about the iPhone.

Yea I dislike that whole exclusivity thing as Apple if it was not, would be selling a lot more phones on other networks than just on AT&T.
