Someone please tell me that they saw the V551 on Cingular website yesterday?? Yesterday after getting the run around with Cingular sales reps that I had to order the V551 via the website which doesn't work for upgrades. I call back today and they are telling me that it was never on their website and they have no idea when they will be selling it...... đŸ¤Ŗ

i saw it.

the v3 was there also, is it still?

i want to get my hands on a 551.

the v3 is way too expensive right now, i think i'll hold off on that one for a bit.

the website works for upgrades... you have to logged in to your account and it's not there anymore, but it WAS. so, you are not crazy. I saw it too...

Whew...I am not losing it then....

Something must be wrong with my account because I have never been able to upgrade my phone online I always get the message "we are unable to complete your transaction via the website" and I have 5 different cingular lines getting the same message.


I guess someone jumped the gun by putting those on the website been nice if they would have told me the truth yesterday instead of sending me on some wild goose chase. 🙄

Is this number Cingular sales? I called it and it hung up on me 3 times? I have also talked to a sales rep by calling 1866-cingular and they said they have no idea when this phone would be available? And I am elgible 2 year contract up in 22 days been waiting on this phone. 😁

Got thru to a rep at that number and she says it will 2 more weeks before those phones will become avaiable and that includes the RAZR. Of course I am sure if I call back again probally get a different answer. 😎

i played with this phone today (one of our employees received their moto learn to earn prize v551 today).

But as for its availability, they must have hit the warehouses because we ordered some of them today. should be receiving them in a couple of days

It is getting really annoying how Cingular.com is false-advertising. Well, at least they are showing a product or phone plan on one day, and taking it away the next. Besides those phones that they took off, they also keep changing other things. For example, I checked up on what their pre-paid plans were yesterday, and one of them said:25 cents weekday, 10 cents mobile-mobile, and 10 cents weekend. Now they quickly changed the weekend to also 25 cents. I know this is kinda picky of me, but still...it is wrong for them to keep putting up stuff on the website, and then taking it off the next day. Cmon Cingular, get yourself organized so that you can prove to everybody else that you really are the best carrier.

The PPD pricing of .25/weekday .10/nights & weekends is the correct pricing post merger... The problem w/ cingular.com is not false advertising so much as unscheduled posts... The updates constantly keep getting posted before they're supposed to... Personally I agree with you on the aspect that cingular.com needs to be revamped starting with hiring an outside firm that knows how to run a website... Because as it's been stated (and unfortunately proven) time & time again... those running our website have no clue what they're doing.
