3G Cingular Vs, 3G Sprint

FIN

Jun 11, 2007, 1:04 PM
Hello,

I Used to be Sprint Customer and have recently purchased Cingular(The new ATT). I have the Samsung Sync.

As of now we do not have any 3G In Denver For ATT, But When they do deploy it, will this allow music downloads to my phone (ota)?

Will the Picture Quality Be any better on the videos? it is already better than sprints, so far hasnt gotten all choppy like the sprint phones do.

And unmts, is that 3G voice or data, Cause i thought hspda was 3G For GSM.

Any Input would be great and appreciated!!! Thank you!!

OTA is not planned, as far as I know, and for those carriers that do offer it, it is very expnsice, and the quality is subpar

HSDPA is an enhanced version of UMTS, both allows simultaneous voice and data

as far as video, I cant say as I ahve never used sprint

The Sync supports sideloading, which allows you to use Napster or Yahoo Music to download music from your phone directly to your computer which allows you to then move it from your computer to the phone.

Yes it is, but i feel it as a good change. Sprint does offer a good product, but I had so many billing and technical problems with my service it was turning into a headache everyday.

I chose cingular because I have heard good things about them, alot of my family and friends have them and no complaints.

So i am giving it a try, so far I like it very much, just cant wait unitl 3G rollout! lol. Than i will get there Aircard for my laptop too.

Cheers 🙂
