On June 17th, AT&T will introduce more unlimited messaging opportunities for FamilyTalk customers!!
For only $29.99/month, Family Messaging Unlimited provides EVERYONE on the FamilyTalk account (up to 5 lines) with UNLIMITED text, picture, video, and instant messaging with anyone in the U.S.
This is gonna sting!!! Chargeback city.

yeah, we're all losing a few bucks on this one.
I just added 3 media works, and an unlimited message package to an account... it's all coming back my way - just make sure you get on the phone and call your customers - if they call CS and add it, then you'll lose that cash too... I'm personally going to wait to see if AT&T advertises it. If they do, I'll start making some calls.

Hey, guess what? You're not allowed to solicit your customers unless you work for PCI. Cold calling your customers can get your @ss fired pretty damn quick.
I would just talk it up to the people that come into your store until that point. Get their permission to change their accounts for them on the 29th, and get a list going. Make sure the people you talk to know to call you or come into your store for the change.
...
Actually they just just changed the No Solicit policy... I can't pull it up on CSP because of the firewall, but it just changed this month. Forgot the details, but it's a little less strict.

I read the recent one as well. If the customer agrees, you can do a 2-2-2 follow up. Call in 2 days, 2 weeks, and 2 months, but only if they agree. It's also not to solict new services or features, only to make sure they're still happy with their service.
...
You can't call their home number if they are on the do not call list. more or less it is different my market. If you are not soliciting anyone, just letting them know there is a new feature out ( follow up call ). For example in our market we don't even do the 2 day call or the 2 month call. It's a little different than roccs. Just make sure you notate the account
...
Actually you are allowed to call and offer YOUR customers new offers as they become available as long as you follow two rules.
1. They agree that it is ok to call them for these offers.
2. You check the number against the "Do Not Solicit" list in AT&T's database.
We were encouraged to call existing customers we dealt with by our market VP during a conference call.
...
Use your own judgment. It should be pretty obvious who wants called and who doesn't. If it will be beneficial to your customer, give them a call. They'll appreciate it.
...
You already know they're gonna advertise it. Maybe between other stores customers and those who've had their features over 6 months it will be a wash.
...
don't forget that doesn't include MEdia net. There's the unlimited individual MEdia net for $19.99 or they can keep it line by line on a media max plan.
...
Hey, I am going to fully take advantage of this offer when it comes out on monday, but I just have a few concerns.
One of my lines already has a txt msging plan, if I add this, will it override everything, or do I have to remove the old one and add the family text?
I am thinking about adding this feature in a cingular store:
i figure that I can help sum1 get commission and I need to figure out how to get AIM on my BB Pearl
Anyone here know how to set up AIM on a Blackberry Pearl if you dont have a data plan? On my pearl, there isnt even a browser icon, so im confused.
Any help would be appreciated.

...
my ringer volume is great, and my call volume is really loud. i use custom made ringtones, so that may make a difference
the call volume is also great, it sounds like you are on speaker phone even if you arent (if the volume is set to max)
the pearl IMO, has excellent volume, and is great for calling. my razr was awful in this department.
