Question for ATT/Cingular reps
I have Cingular 2 line on a month to month. My contract ran out over a year ago. I want to buy another phone for my wife and I.
Can I buy any GSM phone and just switch the card? We have 1600 roll over minutes and I don't want to lose them, pay as you go data and text.
We are looking at the SE520s to repace our current SEs

You should be fine doing this, I would recommend the SE Z525 from a AT&T agent or cor store if you can find them. I am in the Southeastern market and although they have been taken off our order forum, they are still showing to have a $70 mail in rebate on them. Only gripe I have about the Z525 vs. the Z520 is the camera button was replaced by a push to talk button which is a waste of time and space in my opinion. I just wish that the company would come out with a replacement for the Z525's since they have taken them off our order sheet.

Actually I think the 520 is better. I have the 525 and the camera takes a lot of pocket pictures because of that button. I'll bet they know that.

Well according to Phone scoop the w300/ Z530 is the upgrade the the z525.The only question is just how good of a phone is it...

That's it? I work in an agent store so we only have to carry the phones we want and well, we don't carry any SE phones. Not even the W series. Personally I think the w810i is a good phone but the director won't have it.

W300? Z500a? The Z520/525 did have a lot of problems but no more than V551s or Samsung X497s in my opinion.
W300 is a wicked solid phone that I have never seen an issue with. The Z500 is a bulky outdated phone but old people love it. It never crapped out, it was just a bit large.
